ETDRS masks and contours
Available for 2D optomap views.
Mask an optomap image to include only an Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) standard geometry, such as the ETDRS 7-field area. You can also apply the corresponding contour for the mask.
To apply a mask or contour:
- Select View Tools (side panel).
- If multiple masks are available, select a mask in the ETDRS Masks section.
- In the ETDRS Masks section, select Mask or Contour. Note that you can apply the mask and contour at the same time.
The ETDRS mask and contour use the fovea and optic disc locations in the DICOM image data. You can manually correct these locations if necessary. The ETDRS mask and contour will be automatically updated based on the new locations. Changes to the fovea and optic disc locations are permanent.
To change the fovea or optic disc location:
- Select View Tools (side panel).
- If multiple masks are available, select a mask in the ETDRS Masks section.
- In the Set Location section, select Fovea or Optic Disc.
- Click (or tap) the image to set the new fovea or optic disc location.
